ENPRO - How was the company founded?

The company Enpro GmbH was founded in 1997 by the brothers Johannes and Albert Slot. Based on Johannes Slot's experience in the envelope machine industry, W&D and Paulzen production machines were relocated and overhauled in the first few years. Johannes Slot's mechanical-technical knowledge is supplemented by Albert Slot's practical and theoretical knowledge of electrical engineering. Both company founders are still involved in all projects and guarantee highest quality and planning reliability.

In the year 2000 a workshop was set up, so that from that time on the company was able to offer its customers machine conversions. To date, various CNC-controlled metal cutting machines have been purchased in order to be able to also process orders in contract manufacturing and assembly manufacturing.

Due to the trend-setting success of our product developments for the packaging industry and the steady growth, a move to larger premises became unavoidable.

A new building in Wilsum could be occupied from the end of January 2019.

In the present, modernly equipped workshop, almost all mechanical engineering tasks can be solved today.

ENPRO - Where does the name actually come from?

Since envelope machines were often relocated and overhauled during the founding period, the name developed from this:
